Latest news from Denmark and Kenya:

Kenya:

January 2017: The artshop in Ngong has gotten a make-over and is now looking beautiful again.
The workshop classes has started again after a break, and now 4 students are learning how to make bead crafts and banana fibre art. The students, Stephen, Livingstone, Sammy and Gilbert are happy to be part of our project, and you will be seing much more from them in the future.
 
July 2016: The youth are currently receiving counselling and motivation classes, so they can get better aquainted with the rythm of the school, and get back to a more steady and 'normal' daily lifestyle. 
 
 
Nov. 2015: Classes have started again, and we are now teaching Karate, Musico, Computer skills, Art and English. We are trying to expand our food program and need donations for this.
 

Denmark:

April 2017: We held our annual fundraising event and got a decent result out of the evning. See the pictures from the event here.
 
March 2017: We have now changed to a more social responsible bank - Merkur Andelskasse. Our new bank account no. is: 8401 - 0001029091
 
January 2017: Our foreperson Sanne was in Kenya to help with the renovation of the shop and starting up the classes again. 
The planning of our next fundraising event is taking shape. Come by, and support the cause on April 22nd, in Trekroner, Roskilde. More on this will come shortly.
 
July 2016: We are welcoming new volunteers and board members, and preparing for the many markets and activities in the summer and fall season.
 
Nov. 2015: we received a new batch of crafts from Kenya, and are going to several christmas markets around Zealand in the next few months.
