| Patty | | 24/10-2008 | | I sure am glad that I tore myself away from the Miss Marple dvd's and decided to try Hercule Poirot! David Suchet is so good that I had to look him up on Google. One of the first things that popped up was the Murder on the Orient Express game interview in video. I couldn't believe it was the same guy. Thank goodness for Netflix, because I've been able to see several of his British shows. Loved SeeSaw from the 90's - wish I had friends who had seen it to talk about it. I hope he will return to the New York stage one day because I would definitely try to get there to see him. Thank you for your webpage! - Patty in St. Louis |

| Mark LaPirow | | 11/09-2008 | | Thank you for the site. I was so impressed with Suchet in The Bank Job, and it was not until afterwards I was actually told he was the actor that plays Poirot. Call me "thick"; but I was so intrigued with his transformation that I wanted to know more. When I saw your site I then realized how many times I had seen him, but not recognised him, so complete is his characterisations. He is far too humble in nominating the excellent Johnny Depp as the furture of really great character actors. Suchet is really the master - better than Steiger, better than Ed Norton. Just plain great. |
