Poem: Scar
Written by Nina
13-06-2010
Scar
My hand
cutting wound
advancing to scar
some things are better left
the way they are.
Usually the cut would be
on the other side
to clear the slate
or turn lust into hate.
Your hand
flaming fire extends
from your hand to mine
this is where it takes us
to stand the test of time.

Poem: Secrets and revelations

Secrets and Revelations
Whispers dissolving in the air
velvet secrets extending
your tender glances
while slow evening hours
are passing our thoughts
from pillow to pillow.

Poem: River of tears
Written by Nina
15-05-2010
River of Tears
River of tears
ascending from my eyes
haunting my weak body
as everything is falling away
and not even your steadfast eyes
can release my grief.
Feeling your warm hands
wrapped around mine
illusive tears have
extinguised my soul
but I am still seeking
refuge in your arms.
The image of you
is burning in my eyes
I am bleeding out
as you are holding my face
between your hands
and my heart in your soul.
River of tears
caught by your
Poem: Taken

Taken
Crawling mind
whispering soul
a thousand hands
making their way to
my cornered mind
holding me down
forcing me defenceless
to the hollow ground
shreading my skin
into bloody remembrance
just barely conscious
while escaping the hollow grave
in my weary heart
miscalculated by all
that is dear
to me.
Light a dozen candles
for every cold breath
in my bodyless soul
for every kiss evaporated
from my naked lips
for the times
you have wished
your loving hand
Poem: Sentences aloud
Written by Nina

Sentences Aloud
Behold and fear
the enemies of reigning fire
the partaking of the mind
but not the heart.
Seize the wicked in vain
for behold - the gate is open
yet they do not know the presence
they do not seek the living
and sentences aloud, but dead
clean cut, but lazy
will devour me like dust
cradle me softly insane
until things untold
will close my eyes in hate.
In lust and love alike
things that trick the worried mind
the hands in folded blindness
the wind and seed alive
leaving my eyes destroyed

Poem: Upon leaving
Written by Nina

Upon leaving
Velvety sounds in the air
the walls crying your name
lost its endurance of time
as words fall numb to the floor
and your touch echoes
the last of broking pieces.

Poem: Becomings
Written by Nina
09-08-2002
Becomings
The becomings of day
makes us fade in time
there you go, darling
another word vanished
another battle lost
your eyes frozen
for I will never be in.
Hear the battle within
arising from my heart
in time we will melt
the two of us frozen
like a thousand stories lost
always floating underneath
the becomings of day.

Poem: Tomorrow is mine
Written by Nina
25-05-2002
Tomorrow Is Mine
Tomorrow is mine
said the little man
eyes swollen of joy
his voice soft
like the breeze
and yet steady
as a rock
the smile of one
who knows.
Come take my hand
he bid me
and the birds hum in the trees
they know not
for ours is the time
and I wanted to smile
come with me
he said
tomorrow is mine.

Poem: I am what I have seen
Written by Nina
23-04-2002
I am what I have seen
Wrinkles of life
cut deep and clean
evolving from the past
who am I to moan
I am what I have seen.
Wicked traces of life
slipping between my fingers
on and on forever
as the cold sets in
and life is still ahead.
My ears open for the sun
trying to grasp my truth
it is hidden in my mind
and the wind whispers softly
I am what I have seen.

Poem: The rose garden
Written by Nina
02-11-2001
The rose garden
When pastelhue light is reigning on the sea
in the alley of dreams is where I will be
forever expecting your echo of touch
while my dream will make me weary as such
for the blooming roses will make me sigh
so keep me from dreaming here where I lie
or else my garden will grow up and be
the delicate dream you will never see.
