These caves were discovered in 1981 by American explorer William Hornaby and 10 years later the British administration was convinced that the caves were an ideal place to worship.
Today it is a big tourist attraction but if you don't have very long in KL I wouldn't necessarily recommened that you go here - It is beautiful and a fun day out but then again Andrea and I are here for so long that we have time to see all the "less impressive" sights.
