I have been painting for many years and find great pleasure in challenging myself. This includes trying different methods.
I have studied Fine Arts and Philosophy at Aarhus University for six years, and I currently work as a teacher at a Design School in Copenhagen.
I am primarily inspired by the friction between city and nature... by light, scents, and sounds.
All my paintings are painted with acrylic paint on canvas, and most of them are framed with silver painted wooden frames which bring out the colours. The acrylic paint gives me the opportunity to sharply separate the colours from each other and work with abstract, vibrant shapes.
I love colours - as you can see - and I find that strong colours fit well into today's minimalist homes and offices.
