New kid on the block!

19-01-2012 12:23
I am very happy to announce the new kid on the block when it comes to trading odds on horses.

www.oddsfutures.com

Oddsfutures has pretty much the same concept as Betfair and Betdaq, but a bit different. You are trading the movement in the odds, predicting which way they are going and buying and selling as we know it from the exchanges.

But you are predicting which way the odds move and not betting. (Still the same even though there is a small difference on paper). This small difference on paper makes a huge difference when it comes to avoiding some laws in some countries.

For instance, USA has a very strict gambling law, which means that its not possible for an american citizen to bet on horse through exchanges like Betfair and Betdaq. Its now possible to trade horses for an american citizen, because he/she is trading movements in futures, and not gambling.

The same rules count in every other country with the same laws.

What would that mean?

First of all it means that a lot of custommers now have a possibility to trade horses if they want to. The american danish custommers now have a new site where they can trade horses from. That would attract a lot of liquidity over time.

So have in mind, the liquidity is not good now, its a new site, but i would highly reccomend any trader that trades horses to create an account and wait for the liquidity to come in.

I know that trading platforms similar to Geekstoy and Betangel might be on the way.
