www.tradebetfair.com Clean sheet! Almost...4 Kommentarer 12-02-2012 23:49 Damn you Wolves-WBA!
The only game that went wrong today.
With a lack of horse races, and a great card of football, i decided that i was all in on football today. I only traded a few horses and focused on soccer. Not the same outcome as on the horses, but combined i had a great sunday!
6479.79 kr or just around 650-700 pound.
Timing and entry points are everything. Who knew that Novara would beat Inter? And Zaragoza beat Betis? Well you dont have to know if you know how to trade the right way.
Happy trading! Co-op trading! Who is ready?07-02-2012 13:33 I finally got some time to make this long waited co-op trading session.
The rules are simple:
-3 greyhound races traded in a row. (The same 3 races for both traders)
-Only minimum stakes used.(But you can click as many times as you want. Minimum stake is 30 kr or 3 pound. Every pound made wil be calculated by 10 så we get the same result.)
-Has to be recorded!
-Only 1 ladder at a time.(You can only record 1 ladder, that means that you can only trade 1 dog at a time. You can not have bets in the market at the other dogs while you are trading the one that is focused on)
The winner is the one who has made the biggest profit from these three races.
Every penny we make will go to charity. So if you make 10 pound, i will donate 10 pound to charity.
Contact me on skype if you are up for the challenge.
Let the trading begin!
Never write off big teams!05-02-2012 19:42 Chelsea-Man U was one of the classic derby games! And what a game! Man U down 3-0 and with a great comeback, the game finished 3-3!
I love psychology in football, and watching how the players react in these big games. Every single player is so motivated, and even though Man U were down 3-0, i never had the feeling that the game was over. Same thing happend when City met Man U and Man U lead 3-0 and City was a man down. Unfortunatly City wasnt able to come back and get a tie, but they came back to 2-3 with a man down. When players are motivated they can do pretty much anything!
I was trading the game, using the techniques i once blogged about some time ago. And the huge liquidity made it possible to use the technique with bigger stakes. And of course that turned out to be pretty awesome!
4524 kroner and what a match! (450 pound) Photofinish guide in shop!05-02-2012 19:26 A couple a days ago i blogged about a guide i had for when photofinish occurs in horse racing. I asked if someone could translate it to english so you english custommers could get some of the share, and one of my collegues said that he would do it.
So here it is. It would be in the shop, where it can be purchased for 19.95 dollars.
Happy trading! Just one more photofinish!02-02-2012 18:05 Well today was some of a day when it comes to photofinishes! We had 5 photofinishes all in all, and a fantastic work by the handicappers! For every photofinish, there is a great opportunity to trade, and every photofinish can net you a lot of money if you know how to trade it right, because of the huge gaps in the market in so few seconds.
If we are lucky we get around 2-3 photofinishes in a week, but today was just crazy. Wolverhampton and Southwell giving us a lot of what we really love, photofinishes!
I have a guide to photofinishes in Danish that is for sale on the danish site, so if there is any dane out there that would translate it to english, i will give the guide away for free to that person. Just contact me on Skype: BetfairTrading.
Handicapping in action
Horse racing
In a horse handicap race (sometimes called just "handicap"), each horse must carry a specified weight called the impost, assigned by the Racing secretary based on factors such as performances, distance so as to equalize the chances of the competitors. To supplement the combined weight of jockey and saddle, up to the assigned impost, lead weights are carried in saddle pads with pockets, called lead pads. The weight for age scale was introduced by Admiral Rous, a steward of the Jockey Club. In 1855 he was appointed public handicapper. (www.wikipedia.com)
(Admiral Rous) Fat fingers or insider knowledge?23-01-2012 07:59 Yesterday in the match between Malaga and Barcelona, some odd things happend.
While i was trading the market at half time, i had some positions in on Malaga at around odds 400-800. It was not huge money, but i always have some kind of money in the market lying around at huge odds, just in case. I call this fishing.
I use the same thing on horses before the off. If you scroll down on every horse in every horse race, you will see a lot of money at around 1.01-2 even though the odds of the horse is around 50 or similar.
It happens a few times in a year that strange things occur in the market, and the market tend to "explode" away from the price matching money way over/under current price, before moving back to normal.
This thing happend yesterday on the Malaga match.
While i was trading, some huge lay money came in on Malaga, whose odds at that time were around 55-80. The price moved to between 300-800 matching some of the money i had in these odds. At the same time a huge back bet came in on Barcelona pushing the price 2 ticks down. Around a million got matched in this little stunt.
So the question is, is this a huge bet comming in on Barcelona, is it fat fingers, is it a bot mistake or is it some insider knowledge?
I would get surprised if there was matchfixing going on in these bigger games in Spain.
I got just around 200 pound out of the market. (1791 kr) New kid on the block!19-01-2012 12:23 I am very happy to announce the new kid on the block when it comes to trading odds on horses.
www.oddsfutures.com
Oddsfutures has pretty much the same concept as Betfair and Betdaq, but a bit different. You are trading the movement in the odds, predicting which way they are going and buying and selling as we know it from the exchanges.
But you are predicting which way the odds move and not betting. (Still the same even though there is a small difference on paper). This small difference on paper makes a huge difference when it comes to avoiding some laws in some countries.
For instance, USA has a very strict gambling law, which means that its not possible for an american citizen to bet on horse through exchanges like Betfair and Betdaq. Its now possible to trade horses for an american citizen, because he/she is trading movements in futures, and not gambling.
The same rules count in every other country with the same laws.
What would that mean?
First of all it means that a lot of custommers now have a possibility to trade horses if they want to. The american danish custommers now have a new site where they can trade horses from. That would attract a lot of liquidity over time.
So have in mind, the liquidity is not good now, its a new site, but i would highly reccomend any trader that trades horses to create an account and wait for the liquidity to come in.
I know that tra Long time no see!2 Kommentarer 16-01-2012 12:36 Its been a while since i have had some time to sit down and blog about my trading! The main reason is my company and all this avoiding the new danish law. As many of you already know, its not possible to trade horses and greyhounds any longer if you are from Denmark, and these news affects a lot of traders in DK, so many of "us" have found, or still searching for a way to avoid these limitations.
For those of you who still havent found a way around, there is a great back-up solution in Betdaq!
Its still possible to trade horses and dogs on Betdaq, and as a bonus, you can trade the Australian markets without having to go through all the identity process that takes a lot of time!
There are a lot of other good things on Betdaq when you compare them to Betfair, like the commission, PC and so on. Give it a shot if you havent found a way around:
