The Global Dialogue Conference series is associated with the newly established Global Dialogue Prize.
The Global Dialogue Prize is an award for excellence in research and research communication on the conditions and content of a global intercultural dialogue on values.
It will be one of the world's most prestigious awards for academic work that promotes intercultural understanding.
The prize
The award will be in the amount of 500,000 DKK, which renders it one of the world’s largest awards for research in the Humanities.
It is funded by the Global Dialogue Project Group, a consortium of public and private sponsors.Grundfos will sponsor the main award for 2009 and 2011.
The award will primarily be given to individual researchers or research institutions working on intercultural dialogue and value studies, but also to persons or organisations that implement or communicate such research for the benefit of the public at large.
