Business case: MoliftOur customer, Molift, belongs to a swedish group with over 900 mNOK turnover and over 500 employees. Headoffice is in Sweden with daughter companies in Norway, Denmark, Germany, England and The Netherlands.
Business need / requirements:
Our customer had a need / wish for easier control and steering mechanism of their patient lifters in order go give the patient a better life in addition to providing the patient carer with real support and optimum work enjoyment.
Solution:
In one of the projects, Freber used the Freber Custom Solution process to develop a handheld control unit for steering patient lifts from early brainstorming and 3D design, CAD prototyping, testing, final design and full volume production.
Main project goals: lightweight, ease of use, endurable, robust, cost effetive and workable minimum order quantity in mass production.
