So you may have your first publication when you graduate! :) The project's aim is to understand how root hairs develop and what role proton pumps play in this development. We have some data already and aim to publish the whole story by next year. You will be working with Arabidopsis (assess phenotypes of root hairs) and yeast (protein function analysis). Your profile: - Master student in Biology - Biotechnology (or related subjects) - Able to start until October (earlier is better) - Interested in learning new skills Who we are: - Transport Biology, Group of Michael Palmgren - Working with plasma membrane proton pumps of Arabidopsis - Aiming for the next 'Nature' publication Interested?
