Inspiration runs two ways30-03-2011
I just came off Skype after working with one of my most inspirational coachees. A coachee is someone you coach. And this guy is proof that inspiration truly runs two ways.
I have been coaching him for a long time - 18 months - and we have been on a real journey together. Today, he started out by saying that he really didn't know what we should work on, and that he had learned that I would inevitably ask him exactly the questions that he most needed to ask. So I did. One of the important parts of NLP that is immediately useful in everyday life, is realising that the words people use, demonstrates / shows / tells you / gives you a feel for what their preferred style of communication is. We experience the world around us using our 5 senses and then make sense of it in our heads by talking to ourselves.
