shannon - MY FAITH AND MY LIFE

I've always been interested in the spiritual world and its interaction & cohesion with the physical world. As a young girl, I travelled out in the big world and did all the "irrational" tghings. At 18 I went out on the sea, instead of taking a "proper" education. I taught myself to "set light" and began working at theaters and concerts professionally. Since then I taught myself to edit (TV) and got a job on TV2 and DR. (Denmarks biggest TV channels). I have 2 children, a son at 28 and a daughter at 21, beyond this I am blessed with two absolutely wonderful grandsons from my son.

Personally, I have gone through many experiences that changed me radically, most recently when I had cancer in the abdomen. A disease that turned  my life up and down. I was declared "all clear", in April 2005.  After and during my illness I reviewed my life and decided to dedicate my time to working with the spiritual world.

My "faith" is my own and I find myself uncomfortable in overly rigor. In particular Buddhism, Alevismen and Spiritualism, inspire me a lot. My approach to spirituality is very "earthy". 

As a person I am very grounded and direct with a good sense of humor. For me it is important to keep the human being in the center and to demystify the mysterious immediately. It is my deep conviction that we evolve through the tribulations of the earthly life and through this development builds larger capabilities. I have no doubt that life is eternal and the spiritual world exists.

For me, love is the greatest thing in existance and to follow my heart the only way open to me.
