18/6-2011: Copenhagen Winner Show
Today Bravo was entered at the Copenhagen Winner Show and he was so well behaved and looked amazing with his handler Katrine. He won juniorclass with excellent and ck.
Judge was Petru Muntean, Romania.
"11 months old, good type, good head, correct bite, excellent expression, excellent body structure, compact, rich in substance, correctly angulated, good coat and pigmentation, excellent movement"

17/6-2011: Gammas birthday
Today we celebrate our amazing girl Gamma on her 3rd birthday. We feel blessed to have Gamma in our lives, she has got the most amazing character and we could not live without her.

3/6-2011: Summer, sun and weekend
The sun is shinning and we are planning a relaxing weekend in the garden. Tango got his official pl-status and luckily it is still 0/0, so he is free from patellaluxation.
The picture of Bravo was taken wednesday at Katrines house. He is now 11 months and still gorgeous :-)

Salsa and Bravo was entered at the KSS show in Vejen. It was Salsas first show and she won intermediate class, Bravo had an offday but got excellent.

10/3-2011: Mocca and Gamma are now retired
Both Mocca and Gamma have been doing great in the showring, and Mocca have produced a lovely and healthy litter. Despite that we have decided to retire them both, and they are now strictly familydogs. They will of course both be staying with us, we love our girls and could not live without them.

5/3-2011: It's beginning to feel like spring :-)
Today we had a lovely sunny day and we all enjoyed it. Not much have happened here lately, we are relaxing before the show season begins. Bravo will be going on a vacation soon, where he will also be showed, so we are very excited about that.

12/2-2011: Tangos son Best Junior
At his first show (and with tough competition) Tangos son Qupios Ælling became best junior. We are very proud of the gorgeous boy and congratulates his breeder and his owners.

26/1-2011: Snow again
I was hoping that there wouldn't be anymore snow this year.... but we weren't that lucky. Müsli and Bravo is, on the other hand, enjoying playing in the snow.

23/1-2011: Müsli is back home
A CT-scan discovered a rare instability (AAI) in Müslis neck, so Müslis former co-owners and I decided that the best would be to let Müsli move back home to us. Müsli have now had neurologic exams and had her pictures looked at by both danish and international specialists. We have all reason to believe that Müsli will live a long and happy life.
Müsli will continue her showcareer in 2011 and I will try to get some new pictures of her.

21/11-2010: Müslis first show
Today went to her first show. She was Very Promising and became BOB baby. A big congratulation (and thank you!!) to Müslis co-owner Lykke, who takes such good care of Müsli and handles her like a pro.

23/10-2010: Moccas birthday
Today we celebrate yet another birthday; our adorable Mocca is now 3 years old. We love all our pugs, but Mocca got a special place in our hearts. Mocca was not only our first pug, but also our first ever dog. Mocca is very active and always happy, she is intelligent and know how to get what she wants. We adore this little girl and she makes us smile lots of times every day.
Mocca is the mother of our "first"-litter and have finished her showcarreer, now she is "only" a family dogs; a job she is perfect at.
We wish our amazing princess a happy birthday!

17/10-2010: Happy birthday to our "First" litter
Today our 3 gorgeous girls from our First litter celebrates their first birthday!
Bella (Chalant First Edition) was our firstborn. She had a hard time the first couple of weeks, but luckily she grew up to be a strong and healthy girl. Bella moved to the Henriksen family in Brøndby. She was lucky enough to move in with the 2 other pugs; Kenzo and Sille.
Mynte (Chalant First Drama Queen) was born as the second. She was the smallest at birth, but that soon changed :-) Mynte moved to Ninett in Norway. She spend the her first your as a spoiled only child, but that changed last week; she got a "littlebrother"- our precious Humle (Chalant Ace of Spades). Mynte loves the new edition to the family and hopefully they will get much joy from each other in many years to come.
Salsa (Chalant First Sensation) was born last and she was the largest of the girl at birth. Salsa was our keeper and we have had much joy from her in the past year. She is a bundle of joy and we love that little girl to pieces!
A huge thanks to Ninett and the Henriksen family for taking care of our girls; you guys are the best!!

12/10-2010: Bye bye Humle
Yesterday our precious Humle (Chalant Ace of Spades) travelled with his new mom Ninett to their home in Norway. His new "sister" Mynte (Chalant First Drama Queen) gave him a warm welcome, and we know that he will have a fantastic life there. Thank you Ninett for taking such good care of both Humle and Mynte :-)

Our precious Bravo (Tangetoppen's Wild Guess) will finally arrive this friday. We are so excited to have him join our family. Humle is here with us for 2 more weeks before flying to Norway with his new owner Ninett. The picture shows Humle in the forest with Salsa and mother Dudli.

Our sweet girl Müsli have moved to her co-owners. She has a wonderful new home, and we know she will be very happy there. Humle will be staying with us a few weekes more, before moving in with Ninett and Mynte (Chalant First Drama Queen) in Norway.

5/8-2010: Tangos birthday and the puppies 2 weeks
Today our gorgeous Tango celebrates his 2nd birthday. He is spending the day with his "fostermom" Chevie, who is also celebrating her birthday today. Happy birthday to you both.
The puppies are now 2 weeks old, they have opened their eyes and are more mobile now. Dudli is a fantastic mother and the puppies are doing great.

Dudlis puppies are now 1 week old; they are both doing good and gaining weight. Dudli is a very caring mother, so we are very pleased. I've added pictures of both puppies on their page (you can find it via "Puppies" in the menu).

26/7-2010: Page updated
Dudli and her 2 puppies are doing good and we hope this will continue. The puppies have been named after playingcards and are called: Chalant Ace of Spades & Chalant Queen of Hearts.
A new mating is planned, more information about that on our puppypage.
It wont be long until we have the pleasure of welcomming a new male pug to our home. We have made room for him on the "Males" page. More information about him will follow.

22/7-2010: Puppies
Today Dudli gave birth to 2 lovely puppies; a large male and a small female. It was a long and complicated birth, so we are very happy that both the puppies- and morst importantly Dudli are okay.

11/6-2010 Update: Mynte and puppies
I've received quite a few e-mails from people interested in a Chalant pug. I have to make one thing clear:
We never sell to people who keep ther dogs kenneled! Pugs are companiondogs and should be living inside with their family- not locked up in a kennel!!! So there is no point in contacting us regarding a puppy, if you don't consider a pug a beloved familymember!!!!!!!
There's also added a new picture of gorgeous Mynte (Chalant First Sensation) at the page of the "First-litter".

Today we brougth Dudli and Gamma to the CAC show in Kropp, Germany. Gamma won intermediate class and got her first CAC. Dudli repeated last years succes and got CAC, BOS and gained the tittle; "Landessieger Schleswig Holstein 2010".

13/4-2010 SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!! And website updated
Finally spring is here- it has been a long and cold winter, so we all enjoy that seasons are changing. It is now possible for us to let the gardendoor be opened and the dogs enjoy relaxing in the sun and watching the birds.

We are very proud and happy; yesterday Tango became a father again. Carisma vom Sachsen Adel (sired by Sheffields Soldier of Fortune) gave birth to 2 lovely malepuppies at Kennel Qupios - www.qupios.comIt's the first males from Tango and we are very excited to follow them!

Last weekend Gamma became excellent1 in intermediate class at the KSS show in Gørlev (judge Gabrielle Runge). This weekend Dudli competed against 61 pugs in Luxemburg and became excellent3 in championclass.
Soon Tango-babies will be born, we are looking very much forward to this. Also Tango is expecting an impressive visitor from abroad, we are also very excited about this mating. We have decided not to offer Tango as stud to danish bitches anymore- he is only avaliable to a limited number of foreign quality bitches.

5/2-2010 Gammas healthcheck
Today Gamma went to the vet to get tested for demodex and patella luxation. The results are: free of demodex and patellastatus 0/0. It couldn't be better and we are of course very happy :-)
