FEF is the professional association for the nutrition and food science students at LIFE. The main purpose of FEF is to safeguard the interests of students through student politics and the organization of professional and social events.
The student political work is done in close cooperation with management, DSR, Board of Studies and Teaching Committee.
The academic and social events designed to strengthen social cohesion within and across cohorts and, in addition to strengthening the professionalism and interest in the study. The aim is to be held approx. one event per. month.
The events greatly in content, from business visits to gastronomic workshops, lectures on food-related topics and barbeque party. Additionally emits FEF an email alert about. 4 times a year with information about what is happening in the society.
On the FEF's Annual General Meeting, which, in addition to the board, student records, inter alia, teaching committee, board of studies, academic council, gala committee and not least tutors.
During FEF are also other associations and committees. Dairy Forum is an association of dairy food interested students, among other things, organizing a study tour every two years and participates in the National Dairy Show. REF's Travel Grant for Nutrition and Food Science Students. Here it is possible for FEF members to apply for money for internships and study abroad.
