Hello to all.... ;-)
Now unfortunately the flow of people here in Blåvand is decreasing... But this means that I hopefully will have more time to upload more goods on the web-shop? ;-)
I do not want to be complaining but I have something I need to share with all of you... It has been a very strange summer - too hot in the weeks where my summer sale was supposed to peak, which meant that the turnover I was hoping for to survive yet another year, did not quite materialize... On top of that the Danish tax authorities SKAT is now investigation my business to see if it qualifies as a professional business or only as a hobby business, as my business still do not have enough turnover to be self supportive... I do not know at the moment what their conclusion will be but the only way I will be able to improve my figures at the present turnover is by lowering my rental costs. As I will not be able to get a lower rent here in Blåvand my options are to move my business to another location, sell out and close my business or solely concentrate on my web shop sale...
At the moment I am in the process of exploring the possibilities to move my business to another location and this is possibly the path I will choose? ;-)
I do not really have any competition from other art- or craftsmanship businesses here in Blåvand, but maybe I have competition in the form of the many outlet shops, so that the customers spend all there money there instead of in my shop? I do not know?
My usually very creative mind is now buzzing as I do Not want to close my business but I really do have to increase my turnover figures.
I would love to increase the turnover figures for my web-shop which means that I in the future will spend more time taking pictures and uploading new goods. But as always you are more than welcome to ask about all the things I upload on Face Book as well.
